Public Service Reforms in the Region: Best Practices and Lessons Learnt

The GSPP Conference has become an annual event that provides participants and attendees with quality educational and networking opportunities focusing on issues of public policy and public administration. This year, under the theme “Risk, rationality and resilience” the conference will be a platform for academics, experts and practitioners to discuss the current situation, challenges in improving the public administration, public policy, economy and financial systems. 

The aim of the ACSH panel session is to identify the trends and trajectories of civil service-related reforms, as well as the remaining challenges and perspectives for further reforms and development in post-Soviet countries. In other words, the panel aspires to identify the challenges and pervasive issues affecting public service reform in these countries, as well as their future directions in order to use such information for preparing a cross country comparative analysis.
